Meet the Staff
Maggie Rahmoeller, Director
Maggie Rahmoeller is an Associate Professor of Mathematics and Program Coordinator for Actuarial Science. She has participated in many professional and pedagogical development programs and workshops over the past several years, from the competitive Project NExT in 2016-2017 sponsored by the Mathematical Association of America to the more recent "Incorporating Social Justice Topics into Your Mathematics Classroom" this summer. She won the RC Dean’s Exemplary Teaching Award in 2022–2023. As director, Maggie looks forward to fostering community and promoting action — not just through dialogue and learning, but by turning ideas into tangible outcomes. Outside of work, Maggie enjoys playing her oboe in various groups, attending RSO concerts, walking her dog (Loki) when it's NOT hot out, and, more recently, participating in karaoke.
