PLACE Update – December 2025

Even as winter settles in, at PLACE (Center for Purpose, Life and Career Exploration) we are warming up and ready for the annual Launch Lab program in January! This event, which is exclusively for Roanoke College seniors, takes place on campus from Jan. 8-9, 2026, and features hands-on workshops, networking events and personalized guidance to launch them into their career. Student participants will return early to campus and gear up for two days of workshops and sessions on a variety of career topics, such as professional branding, CliftonStrengths and their career, LinkedIn, personal finance and more. Launch Lab will conclude with a networking session for participants to meet and mingle with local alumni and business leaders.

Give the gift (and this one is FREE) of a fresh start and a solid job search plan! If a student is feeling stuck, stalled or unsure where to start a job search, Launch Lab is for them!
